at the scholar meeting...
Yay...I found time to update my live journal cuz I'm sitting in the pres scholar meeting.hehehehe, way to make the most of my time huh?
Anyways...we're talking about sports and the F-Troops... did u know that one student can win free tuition for a semester by just showing up to the games at school? I didn't know that...dang, this school is rich huh? Ok so heres the updates:
School - I did my presentation today for my honors class. What a bad day...first off, the video clips that I had on my presentation were not saved onto my disk and so they didn't really work when I tired playing them on the computer. So I start freaking out because I have an hour before I have to present. Thanks to my saviors in the HSR (Ti and Chii) I was able to get in on disk and my presentation went really well...25 out of 25!!! YAY!!! Thanks so much to you two...I will love you forever. So I'm pretty much done for work for that class... at least until my final paper which isn't due until December...it's a take home essay too so yay! I get a lot of time to do that.
PBL - yay for more time to hang out with friends...specially this weekend. It was the FBLA-PBL National Fall Leadership Conference at the Anaheim Marriot. It was so great once again, I always have a great time at those conferences. I did workshops on ice breakers, leadership styles, and there were 2 motivational speakers...the one who spoke at the end - Harriet Turk, she picked me as a volunteer for the activity she did. So there were 6 of us who went up on the stage and she played music and said that whoever can dance the most enthusiasticly would win. Well....guess who won?!?! TA-DA!!! I DID!!! YAY!!! Chii got it all caught on video so ask him to see it if you want. Anyway, Mrs. Turk gave my a tiara - a yellow headband with two spring-ies sticking straight up with happy faces at the end of them. She said that from now on, I would be known as Ms. Happy Pants...and therefore, my nickname now is Pants. Now, dianne = pants. Got it? Kool...hehehe
UHS - KARAOKE NIGHT, Saturday November 15th from 7-9pm at Numero Uno Pizza Place in Anaheim. Tickets are on sale and GOING FAST!!! So make sure that you get your ticket soon. Singing and unlimited Pizza as usual...it's gonna be tons of fun! I promise....you really will have a lot of fun. Next meeting is Wednesday, November 12th at 5:30. There will be a LOT of good info to be discussed to be sure you come. We're gonna talk about Karaoke, Thanksgiving, Adopt-A-Family, prolly a guest speaker talking on some academic stuff...yup yup, lots of good info... YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....my head still hurts from this morning. I think I really burned out after this weekend, as much fun as it all was, it was really tiring too. But I really wouldn't miss it for the world. I get so much networking done because everyone remembers me as the girl who dances. hehehe, how cute is that? Well, after the meeting I need to get food with Chii and Joe...I'm gonna feed my boyfriend hehee...talk to you all later. Yummy!
