little black dress, approved
So I went shopping today, intending to get some new pants. Most of what I have are now loose. I already got a couple new pairs a few weeks ago, but no jeans. So, that was what I looked for first. Well, the pants purchasing so far has been a bomb, but I now have a HAWT little black dress and two new pairs of shoes.
One pair of shoes was something I spotted last night but didn't have time to check out. (Danskin brand dancing/athletic shoes) The other was a pair of simple black dress shoes from White Stag that, while not exactly well crafted, had the exact look I have been trying to find in my size for the past several years. They had the right shape and came in wide width. If I put on normal width dress shoes, my feet look fat and feel worse. I may have to write to the company and tell them I love their style shoe and to put a little more effort into the production.
After getting home, I modeled the dress and shoes for the hubby. He was quite enthusiastic regarding how I looked. So a big seal of approval from him. The dress is a size 10. I almost didn't try it on, because I didn't think it was going to fit when I held it up. It made me feel really good to see how sexy it made me look. *Big happy dance*
