Notes: Quick drabble written on impulse this morning. I can see this happening on the long plane ride from Japan to Los Angeles for JRock Revolution. Isshi learns the hard way why it's not a good idea to play a serious strategy game against Miyavi when he's off his Ritalin... For more info about the games: Go and Shogi.
“Are we playing Go or Shogi?” Miyavi asked with wide, innocent eyes.
“This is Go,” Isshi explained through gritted teeth. “Shogi uses little tiles. Go uses these stones.”
“They look like Mentos to me...” Miyavi mused. “Who’s winning?”
“I am. Please concentrate.”
“If I put a couple more black ones here and here,” Miyavi indicated the spots on the grid, “it will look like a smiley face.”
“That’s not a good strategy...”
“KING ME!” Miyavi shrieked, slamming a stone down in front of Isshi.
“I give up...” Isshi raised his hands and stormed away.
“MYV for the win!” Miyavi crowed.
