Title: ...In the leaves you play in
Words: 100
Band: Hyde & Tetsu
“Hyde, get out of the leaves!” Tetsu shouted, mildly annoyed. “Seriously, no messing around right now!”
Hyde rolled over and snuggled his face into the leaves as if it was the softest pillow on the most irresistibly comfortable bed imaginable. “Uuunnn…” he mumbled, sprawling into an even more awkward-looking position on the ground.
“Hyde-!” Tetsu groaned, forcibly flipping the falsely-unconscious Hyde over. Tetsu fell over and yelped.
“Hn?” Hyde asked. “Whaddissid…?” He opened his eyes slightly and looked down.
On his jaw there was a large, brown, furry spider. “UUUuahHhHh!” he cried, tumbling over onto the sidewalk next to Tetsu.

“Oh my god, Hitsugi!” Yomi cried, “How did this happen?”
Hitsugi’s foot was completely covered by a cast filled with bandages and gauze. Although Yomi himself had not been there to see it, Sakito, who was involved in the accident, had witnessed the terrible mutilation of Hitsugi’s foot, via edge-trimmer.
“Well, you see…” Hitsugi said, while Ruka carefully pulled his hand away from the fluids bag which he had started to play with.
“I was in the backyard, playing with my new Happy Meal toy, when I heard this charming song begin to play. I looked around for who was playing it, until I finally saw it.
“A charming little grasshopper playing a violin on his legs! I picked him up and put him on the table next to me. And I started to swing back and forth and dance to the pretty song.
“But then suddenly, I kicked the table by mistake, and it scared Mr. Grasshopper so bad he flew right off. I jumped after him to make sure he had landed okay, but I wasn’t paying attention to Sakito, who was trimming the edges of the yard, and I landed on…”
“Fuuu…” sighed Yomi, “Only you, Hitsugi.”
Title: ...At the edge of the woods

“…Do you think that there will be any bats here?” asked Kirito, nervously. “I don’t know,” said Kohta, “Why?” “I was just thinking that… that would be kind of cool!” Kirito said, and his brother sighed. He knew he was afraid of bats.
“Look over there, Kirito!” Takeo called. Kirito looked too see a burnt orange dusk, nearly night, silhouetting the wooded area in front of them. Kirito stared at it and smiled, suddenly struck by a feeling of inspiration from its undeniable beauty. “Beautiful.” he said.
Takeo pointed at the largest tree. “What I meant was up there… bats!”

“Whose idea was it to go camping?” Kirito grimaced, slouching over on a log they had pulled over to sit on. “You’re just upset about the bats still, Kirito…” said Kohta, who was already roasting sausages and shrimp over the fire.
“Actually…” Takeo said, “Neither of you feel at all uneasy?”
Kirito looked at Takeo with his eyebrow raised curiously. “What do you mean?” Kohta looked at Takeo as well, who had taken on a serious expression.
“Don’t either of you know the story of this place?” he said.
They shook their heads.
“I was afraid so…” Takeo muttered. Kirito jumped up over the proper side of his log. “What are you talking about, Take? Are you messing with us? Haha…?”
Takeo continued to look into the fire with a serious stare.
Kirito sat on the log properly next to Kohta.
“Well you see, they say people have mysteriously disappeared in this area.” Takeo began. “They say that those who wander into these woods should be wary of a wandering light in the woods. This light is, apparently, inhuman and ghostly, although no one really knows for sure, because anyone who has gotten close enough to be sure has never been seen again. Some speculate that it may be the spirit of an old criminal wandering these woods. Others believe that it may be an alien, or experimental military-manufactured creature taking people away and doing things with them.”
“But that’s not true, of course.” Kirito laughed, taking a bite of shrimp off of his skewer.
“Not the stories of course, no.” said Takeo, “But people really have gone missing here before.”
Kohta, silently, began to eat his dinner quite quickly.
“Ha, whatever.” said Kirito, finishing off his fourth skewer.
“Oh, and another thing they say,” Takeo added, “They say that whatever it is, the light only heads towards those who have consumed a lot of sweet things recently.”
“So Diabetics are fine?” said Kirito, now probably on his seventh skewer.
“I guess.” said Takeo. “It’s not really important since it’s just a story, anyway.”
Kohta shuffled nervously, the candy wrappers in his pocket making a crackling noise.
“Well, goodnight.” Takeo said a while later, as the trio got ready for bed. Kohta curled nervously into his sleeping bag. “Good night!” said Kirito. “Good night…” whispered Kohta, unable to close his eyes. The outdoors were far too noisy for his liking.
