TVD 4x19 thoughts/feelings/etc
I probably should've thought to post these here before tumblr but at least I didn't forget completely about my neglected LJ?
I finally got around to watching 4x17 just before this so Bonnie in the graveyard hit me hard. She is not allowed to lose her memory of Jer’s death again, okay, show? Also I totally believe that was really Jeremy in the dream.
I want to say that Klaus actually wants the cure so he can jam it down Silas’ throat and kill him without the walls coming down and he’s not telling anyone because Silas is a mind reader but I really doubt it because 1) the show is not doing well by forethought this season and 2) Klaus has lost a lot of his villain mojo thanks to his Caroline issues.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE SKIPPED ALL OF REBEKAH’S HUMAN DAY!? HOW DARE YOU, SHOW!
I totally approve of Caroline going to Klaus for a dress because who else is going to have one that magically fits her except the guy with the creepy, stalker obsession? He is totally Phantom of the Opera-ing it up in the basement, you just know it. Kudos to Caroline for realizing that and using his feelings for her own benefit.
Why is Jeremy in so many of the pictures? Wouldn’t the first thing Caroline did be to pull out all of his because no one wants that downer at prom?
Stefan trying to seduce Elena’s humanity back: I approve.
Damon getting pissy because Stefan is trying to do exactly what they both want: 9.9
When steroline started happening my response was first shock (because it worked for me) and then happiness for all the steroline fans. I still don’t want it though.
I don’t understand April’s presence ever, I don’t even remember her name unless it has just been said I had to wikipedia it just now, and I get this vibe that she’s been brought in because Matt needs someone human to end up with.
Silas is a creeper.
KLAUS, YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY KALIJAH! YOU WERE SO HAPPY YOUR BROTHER WAS COMING HOME WHY ARE YOU FUCKING IT UP?
Rebekah finally gets to come to a dance and it’s the worst one. Sigh. At least she got to dance with Matt? And even though I don’t like how rude he was to her, Matt is the only one on this show with a real response when dealing with a person who murdered someone he cared about, and I really can’t fault the show for finally doing well at something.
So remember when Matt drowned himself and Bonnie saved him and I worried that was the start of Bonnie/Matt? And remember how relieved I was when that went nowhere and they stayed awesome friends? Yeah, my worries are back because of prom court.
Even Elena’s evil plans are lame.
I love that they chose to show us Damon being hurt instead of Stefan. They know what the people want. Also, does this mean Silas can be in two places at once? His wording talking about Stefan was weird and made me wonder….
I was so hoping Bonnie would turn Elena’s humanity back on so that Elena would suffer all that grief and pain. I am done with this Elena. But Bonnie beating the crap out of Elena was fun too.
I now want to write crackfic about Matt getting turned on by Rebekah in an apron. Possibly only an apron.

Tyler was acting … off. I kind of expected him to be Silas and end the dance by stabbing Caroline in the stomach so when she returned the bloody dress it’d be a message to Klaus. Pointless given the rest of the episode, I know, but I also don’t think Silas would go there. This is all about getting back to his true love and as a professional courtesy to Klaus I doubt he’d ever actually go after Caroline like that. Still, didn’t stop me from expecting/wanting it.
Klaus whispering so Caroline wouldn’t hear him threatening Tyler. You’re a psycho, but you’re sweet too sometimes.
