lol watching TVD with your mom. >.< I'm pretty sure I would have shot my dad, because he likes to do commentaries. lol tho I was catching up with the last like five episodes on Tivo earlier today and mom watched a few with me. She kept going "ha, I don't even watch this show", and I was like mom. Jesus woman, shut the hell up and let me watch my show or I will talk during that entire episode of Greys Anatomy.
I'm both really excited and really dreading VAMP!Elena. If done right, it could be a really interesting twist, but if she has no reactions to the fact that she is now a vampire when she clearly never wanted to be, I will be so so pissed. >.and I totally know what you mean about Tyler and Caroline. I don't even ship it and Tyler had me bawling. And then that thing with Rebeckah and Elijah happened. And then that thing with Elena in the water and I'm just like, T___________T. lol. I seem to be in the minority because I really liked this episode
( ... )
I think I might actually like this episode once we get beyond it. My opinion of it really hinges on how all these new issues play out and right now, they're not and this is TVD so I naturally assume they'll play out badly.
Mom and I talked a lot during the drowning so I didn't get emotional during it like I probably would have otherwise, so I was thankful for that.
Perfect icon choice there by the way. :) And not just because when TVD makes me at all unhappy I mentally reset things and cross it over with TWD.
heeee. See, my family has a mutual agreement that we do not talk during our shows. Its like a law. If I were a minor, it would be grounds for a grounding.
And TY. I love TWD, iconning it is so much fun. <33
I totally get what you mean. I want to write a TVD au where Elena, Caroline and co meet Stefan & Damon when the world goes to hell and eventually they'd meet up with TWD group and there would be epic tensions because we all know Shane would not approve of the vampires.
. It felt tacky amidst all the non-ship drama When I wrote my reaction post I totally looked for that Klaus reaction gif "You're tacky and I hate you" LOL *mindtwin*
Bonnie saying no to spirits.
I almost squeed at that part, because the whole spirits screwing up her life annoys the hell out o f me.
The thing I hated the most though was the flashback with Damon. TVD writers trying to rewrite their own history to suit them better. Also how they conveniently forgot how Elena fell in love with Stefan BEFORE she knew he was the one who saved her. Idiots the whole lot of them.
Also, I'm hoping Klaus doesn't jump straight into bed with Caroline just because he can. He wants her to want him, after all, that's what the whole "a year or a hundred" thing was about. So I want him to woo her and, assuming Bonnie doesn't immediately spill the beans amid all the other chaos, wouldn't that be a good way for people to realize something's up?Oh god, I so hope they won't have sex or even have more kissing unless Caroline knows it's him. With her
( ... )
Bonnie and making her own decisions was the best thing to come out of the episode. She's always been heading here so it's nice to see it finally happen. Someone, I think it was youcallitwinter but I could be wrong, said they'd be happy to see her as the big bad next season. If that's what it takes for her to have autonomy for once, I'm all for it
( ... )
I'm not sure I want her as the big bad, or even completely taken over by "darkness", because that would be so close to what happened with Willow on Buffy, but I'm definitely down for her making morally ambiguous decisions to protect herself from being used by these people again and again and again. (For all I care she could even just kill Damon ;))
Oh god that dialogue is GOLD. Please tell me you'll write fic for the ficathon!?
The ficathon is going to be my life! I want klaroline and Bonnie+Tyler and Bonnie+Tyler!Klaus and Alaric/Jenna needs to be ficced to death (no pun intended) because this is their last chance for fandom to go crazy over them.
I don't want her to be the big bad either, but morally-ambiguous-Bonnie-who-helps-the-quote-unquote-bad-guys wouldn't be unwelcome. And they have to at least let her go a little dark after the scene where she killed Jeremy. (And then can Jeremy's love and/or the love of the perfect trio - aka Elena/Bonnie/Caroline - be what brings her back? Preferably the latter? Pleaseohpleaseohplease?)
