As my birthday and Haynes' wedding fast approaches, I grow more and more intraspective. Now this is not foriegn to me, I am used to getting very quiet as the date of my birth comes up, but there is one part of it that is quickly becoming upsetting

I found this obit and quote from a children's author. He died 05/17/07 at the ripe old age of 83. There were a few things that really struck me about all of it.

1. He didn't start writing till later in life.

2. this quote was amazing, and I hope you get all out of all this (and more) than I did, "At the end of knowledge, wisdom begins, and at the end of wisdom, there is not grief...but hope."

3. This is the thing that really got me thinking and writing. It's just two sentences from his obit, "He met Janine Denni, whom he married in 1946, while attending the University of Paris. She died two weeks before he did, Holt said in a statement."

It was Lloyd Alexander's obit, but that's just an aside. Sweetie, you are loved, you are amazing, more so than you can even begin to comprehend, and I suppose that's all I really have to say for now. I mean, I suppose I could message you & give you a thesis on how great you are, and write a paper with my arguments, but I think you have a few clues to what they are, and HELL NO, I'm not coming on to you, that's reserved for someone else, but just know, that you have a fan club, even though you might not always realize it.
