When my heart races beyond sleep,
after the night comes to greet me
and returns to his country of stars
I cast my heavy eyes to you.
You wander the land of wildfire and silk
to plant toes into the mud
and stretch your fingers to the sky
for the stars to rest in your arms.
I see you sleep just like the moon,
on your side, reflecting the light
to my distant shore, where fireflies
present to you their phosphor.
