Anyone ever get the feeling they know to much?
This is not one of those ignorance is bliss arguments. I'm actually talking about information overload. A state which I will call "Fat Brained."
I read, talk, surf, absorb far too much information from the internet on a daily basis.
Perhaps I should go on an "info diet."
What is the attraction of knowing so much useless, arbitrary, trivial information? What kind of recreation is it to remain hip to so many mini-trends?
What kind of use is it to know so much?
Am I addicted? Is my brain gettin fat? (i don't mean to say intelligence, I mean filled with trivial knowledge)
I guess it all comes down to self control. The control I need to avoid certain areas of the internet that affect my life or feelings detrimentally.
Freedom of Information nevertheless is a good thing, it just may get somewhat unwieldy for our limited human minds.
