I have encountered two traffic cops the past 2 1/2 weeks that have lied and made my life worse, just because they want to out of spite for being wrong.

case 1:
1 cop knew that i paid $10 for parking at a nearly empty $4.25 lot (I ran out of dollar bills) since a $10 was found within the 6 hours interval when the collection was picked up by a guy named Ron. But he claimed that it may not have been mine and that I put it in the wrong slot so I had to pay $190 to get my car out of the yard (where the towing truck took it, near Hobby Airport). He just wanted the money.
case 2:
My lawyer tried to talk to the cop to agree on not having to go to trial as the whole traffic incident back in 2004 was not my fault. But he refused and even said he would say he was in a different spot during the scene so that he can bolster his defense. He lied in trial, changed his position in the diagram, and lied about putting all the information into his notes. So I was found guilty and I'm stuck with this traffic violation on my record for 3 years now. Funny thing is... the judge, prosecutor and defense lawyer all believed me and not the cop.
My dad said that I may have lost because of the lies and also because the jury was packed with women who are more likely to respect authority more than men. Beats me, but whatever the case, I'm pissed.
