Importance of Change

You can take a step forward. With that step comes sacrifices -- sacrifices of security, happiness, risks... anything is at risk of becoming a sacrifice, or a compromise for moving on.

You should not be afraid to go in new directions, as long as it won't leave your life astray. Take what makes sense, and listen to what people say around, especially those you know will forever be ingrained as a part of your soul such as family unless if you intend to break ties, which I hope will never be the case.

There may be disappointment with taking a new step, especially if you've been forwarned. But taking a step back is much harder to do, and usually it hurts yourself and or others too. The best thing you can do from there is to take another step forward, perhaps in another direction, but always with your eyes ahead, to look on with hopes.

If you can't live your dream, don't worry about it. Just keep it in tow so you can always cast a glance at the dream that will always be by your side. This is important as they will remind you of what you value in life and perhaps there'll be a day when those dreams can be realized just by taking a single step forward ahead of you.

Jumping ahead leads to missed experiences and sometimes to broken relationships since you didn't take your time. There's always a place to be, and always a place to go. You can be happy in both places, but maybe both weren't meant to exist forever in time, but maybe they both weren't meant to make you happy forever.

If it does, then you're in eternal bliss, but usually it means you're at the end of time. It's human nature to be wandering souls in search of a happy life. Thankfully there's the possibility of love being there to accompany you in the quest down the river called life.

Never fret if you're going in a direction that doesn't always seem to be a perfect match. If you're in doubt, take a step forward. You'll find out sooner or later if it is a wrong step, and when you do -- you can always take a step forward in another direction, hopefully one that will be better and more meaningful to you.

That's all that's worth existing for.

My dream isn't to be a lawyer, it is much much more. Can I be something else? Sure, I can. I can be anything I want to be, but everything is a step at a time. I've already taken a direction years ago. I'm not taking a step back for that will hurt everything and put me at a disadvantage with fleeting time. My dream is something I'll be keeping in tow, and something I can possibly make come true with time on my side. But am I going to complain about the direction I'm going in? No, not if my dreams can be realized in another way, and not while I think it is the best direction today. I might not think so in the future, but that's natural and normal -- things are in a constant state of motion... constant state of change, as I find a place to be that I can call my own which in reality may be only inside me. I can find unhappiness anywhere I go, and I can also have a happy life anywhere I go as well, as long as I know I'm taking a chance at being me, even if it is just for an instant while... even with the fleeting belief that the world is mine to conquer. And eventually I'll be able to find peace in a world that's so "full of it" by making the best possible come out of me for the sake of others. Let it be through law or some other inspiration -- the title means nothing to me, but what I do means much more, and I intend to make myself a meaningful person for others no matter where I am. Especially when I'm taking the course, taking a step forward, on my own.

Is time important? Have you ever closed your eyes and thought back to the past and wondered why did you do something that you never finished? Could you imagine what could have happened if you did? Maybe life wouldn't have been that much better, because believe me, it won't be that much better. But maybe it could have saved you time to go onto your dream, because either way... where you are now and where you were going to before, you're still distances away. You know what happens if you take a step back... that's leaving a footprint going nowhere. Why did you take a step back? Couldn't you just have turned around and make a new direction instead of going back to where you were?

Maybe you were lucky one time that the ground was made of sand or of snow and you only lightly tapped the ground. But that is not a common case. What would happen if you stayed in the same place? The footprints would go deep and yet it doesn't seem to have a direction -- a purpose for existing. I couldn't find it in my heart to wait a year before going on closer to my dream and currently that means surely more schooling of some kind. In nature, you'll find animals' footsteps going somewhere, but usually for a reason -- for survival.

Have you ever seen a bunny hop back into where it was without turning around? Animals simply don't do that because it is rather an unnatural thing to do -- because they can't see where they're stepping back into. They can't see the consequences of their steps. Sometimes we're guarded with memories of security to take that step back with closed eyes but that doesn't mean the security will always be there. Think about that.
