The first weekend at home with Stephen was great. The weather was not the most accomodating, but it didn't matter. It was just nice to be able to relax and start to settle into a family routine. Fortunately for me, that included some HeroClix with Koronite and one Fruitloop. I don't think I had played since my grandmother passed away, so it was nice to get back into my little plastic crack of a hobby. It didn't hurt that we broke into our cases of the newest set either.
As is the case with a new baby, things are busy. We do have time to ourselves, but every day there seems to be something going on. In between appointments we have long overdue visits and other such goings on. I'd say that will die down, but we're getting into May and that has always been a busy time for us. Having said that, I do look forward to the long weekend when I fire up my annual barbecue get together. I'm rather flattered I've already had half a dozen people asking for confirmation that I'm doing it again this year.
