You know, first it was the Pittsburgh Penguins. Then, the Nashville Predators. RIM (Research In Motion) bigwig Jim Balsillie has been trying to buy an NHL for most of this year so far. He has never hid his intention of moving said team to this side of the border either.
Around these parts, people jump up and down assuming the team will come to Kitchener-Waterloo, or at the very least Hamilton. Well, here's the thing kiddies...you have to have a team in order to be able to move it.

Nashville owner Craig Leipold has advised the NHL to no longer consider Jim Balsillie as a prospective owner of the team.
Sources say Leipold told the league the absence of a finalized sale agreement and Balsillie desire to move the franchise to Hamilton are the reasons for his decision.
