I am currently sitting in birthing room 108 at Holland Hospital where my little sister Jennelle getting oh so close to giving birth! I can not say enough about how proud I am of her and to be her big brother. God's hand has been so evident in the past 7 or 8 months, that to say its a miracle would be a huge understatement. We give all the praise and thanks Him and just hope that we have gloried Him through the whole process!! He is good. so good!
currently watching: Jungle 2 Jungle, starring Tim Allen...with Mimi-siku. classic...
I am excited to meet Dan and Jenny (adoptive parents)...i think they are coming in a day or two from Iowa. should be a party.
At least I hope its a party. a celebration. it will be bittersweet for sure...carrying/ helping carry a baby for 9 months and then only getting to spend 2 days with him before watching him leave with new parents...im sure i will cry. But more importantly, its the arrival of a new life into the world. and the end of what has surely been a life-changing experience for Jennelle and the rest of us. lives changed for the better!
i'm excited to meet the little guy. i need to run to the store and buy him a soccer ball.
