I love it!
It's been a good first of December so far. Way better than this day last year, I must say :-p. Hey, I'm on a good path so I am happy now. I'm starting to feel athletic again too, which is huge. Helps that I passed my Hwardo test today....12 more weeks to go until my 2nd Degree test. Eep. I'll kick ass though, because that's just what I do. I made some stupid blunders today though, but that's typical and I least I kept getting back up and continuing. I wasn't the only black belt to hit the ceiling with my Janbo, so at least the blunders were shared.
Driving to Elmira wasn't too much fun today. The snow made the roads pretty gross until I got to 13. Short cuts aren't as fun when the roads aren't plowed. The drive home was fine though, and I don't think it's supposed to snow until after midnight tonight, so I should be able to go to Ithaca as planned to chill with Eeni.
I went to Pizza Hut with Marc after the test, and thanks to him the Count's song is stuck in my head :-p. I find myself walking and singing "I *beep* slowly, slowly, slowly getting faster". Props to you for finding a good video buddy! Then it was back to Ithaca where I made a quick pit stop at Barnes and Nobles and bought more than I should have. I resisted getting "Fury" (the Star Wars book released last Tuesday) for almost a week...so it was well deserved. The CDs and extra book probably wasn't required, but I was Xmas shopping for myself, so there :-p. I bought Kelly Clarkson's new CD, and it really is good. I've wanted it ever since I heard that she got in a fight with her production company because they didn't want to publish it. It wasn't what they wanted her to create. The first track is my favorite so far, so I'm gonna close with some awesome lyrics. Too true for me, and it's freaky.
