I suppose I might update, simply for the sake of updating. Things have been surprisingly busy recently. The most noticeable is getting my grad school application in (ontime). Now I get to play the waiting game until around Christmas-time, when the grad school mails their decisions. Both Eleanor and Barbara said I had nothing to worry about, but of course that won't stop me.
If I ever find out how I did on my 2nd circuits exam, there might be the possibility of even passing, which is a complete shock. Compounded with the shock that I got a whopping 55 on my other exam, which I'd thought would go better than circuits. I can only wait with baited breath to find out how horrid that exam will be. I get the distinct impression that Pr. Ryan feels he has much better things to do than lecture a handful of undergrads on simple ciruit theory. The Bastard. Did some Christmas shopping (thank you Amazon), hear from Ashley today (slightly odd), and got the new wireless router (mostly) working. Still no word on the graphics card, thank you very much. CSO is getting a nasty WTF phone call from me tomorrow. Eight weeks my ass. The damn thing was in-stock, too. And they've billed my card.
Turkey next week, but we'll probably have chicken, as is the norm after the "incident" way back in the day. Maybe Dad will make 2 so I can take one back with me. The great part about next week is that I've got 2 classes Monday, and that's it. Since Tuesday will be a Thursday schedule, and Wednesday will be Friday, all I've got to do on Tuesday is work for a few hours to justify my existence, then head home for some laundry and tryptophen (sp?). And homemade stuffing. Yeah. And after that, only three more weeks. They should really swap a week of winter break for an extra week of spring break, or let us out a week earlier. There's my rant about vacation time sucking. I'll be sure to remember that next year while I'm interning with no vacations to my credit.
Tomorrow's schedule includes cleaning the bathroom and my room, maybe rewiring some things to get them out of the way. Should have acquired some zip ties from the office today, but oh well. Bowling Sunday. Yeah. Hopefully we'll do better than last week. Hopefully more than one of us will even approach average. That sucked. On the plus side, now we have t-shirts, a website, and one crazy fan. You too can be an official "athletic supporter" for a mere $10. Don't shy away, you know you want it.
I also began filming my first movie role, thanks to Jay and his friend Jim, who has apparently directed a dozen movies in less than 4 years. Or something like that. I'm a spy, Maxwell Smart-type. Should be interesting. And that, boys and girls, is a successful update.
