Just to jump on today's bandwagon

I mean, I felt a bit bad for Griffin when he couldn't even get out an answer over all the people calling his policy disgusting, and I don't think that whole-sale demolition of them will really sway the extreme supporters but, damn, that was satisfying to watch. And it has raised the issues to attention (as well as giving London something to riot about!)

So excited for the G20 now. It's a whole different kettle of fish but if we can get that kind of energy going here, it could change a lot. Not least the membership of OneWorld :-)

I sat by the sea today as the sun was out at lunchtime. I ate a peach and watched the waves. It was very pleasant. Now back to work. With further work tomorow. This weekend is going to be a tough one, I'll be longing for the hours spent sitting still by this time on Sunday. Not so much the library crowd nor the pebble-dash walls, mustard floor and it's stale-air, dry-page smell that makes my throat itch. Who said academia is glamorous?
