I know that hearts can and do change. If you were to label me based on my beliefs prior to 1999, then I would fall in the atheist camp. Perhaps some people who are on this list have changed their views since their last snapshot was taken.
Even though I consider myself to be Christian, I admit that my belief in God is variable in its depth. Somedays I wonder if I'm just a big phony claiming to be Christian. I want to have an intimate relationship with God, just like I want to have an intimate relationship with a woman. I've witnessed people who have genuinely achieved such a relationship; so I don't deny that it is a real-life experience. I just don't feel it for myself. I can relate better to the testimonies of non-believers than the testimonies of believers. I feel guilty for saying that. I am a seeker of God, but I'm not a feeler of God. Not yet. I want to feel. I want to find.
Questions for Ashby: How are you doing? How do you feel about the progress of Visible Grace? Where are you traveling in days to come? Who do you wish to meet? What do you wish to share?
