The last week or so...
So, I havent written in a week,
but I have good reason so yea. from about Wednesday 9/1 to Wednesday
9/11 I didnt have internet. We were switching from dsl to cable, and
they were supposed to come out on Saturday and hook it up, but when
they came out, they were only able to connect our tv up, they couldnt
connect us to the internet. They said they would send a tech out on
tuesday, but the guy never showed up, so I tried installing the
software myself...Got so far, then got stuck. Jake came over and fixed
it for us with nybbles help. So we are back up. Now, this is what went
on during the week we had no net.
Thursday, 9/2, I went to the fair with Kristen, Jer, and San. It was the day that Maroon 5 was supposed to play, but there were so many people there, that we didnt stick around to listen. I dont know what the opening music was, but I liked it. We went to the ferris wheel and i wanted to sock the crap out of the ticket guy. The ride cost 6 tickets..I had 6 tickets, went to go give them to the guy, they told me us to wait a second, you know, for the line to start moving. While we were waiting, I dropped my freakin tickets on the ground and they fell between the cracks on the ride, so I lost 6 tickets, and the damn carnie wouldnt let me on the freaking wheel, so I had to scrounge around for 6 more tickets...found some and had fun on the ferris wheel. Its my favorite part of the fair...all the way up above everything else..you can see everything from the top. Its so beautiful. After the fair we went to kristens and ate her food. mmMM. She made me a roast beef sandwich which was really good. Then we watched a whole bunch of Family Matters episodes. I dont remember what time it was when i went home, I think it was about 2...but it was cool.
Friday, 9/3 was another 2600 meeting, I went had fun once we got there. The only problem was that it took forever to get there, we had no idea where we were going. We eventually found it.. Chilled out at starbucks, then went to Dennys, hung out for awhile ate some food and then went on home.
Sunday, 9/5 Jer stopped buy unannounced so that I could play the present game and get the gifts he had gotten me. I wound up getting a gift card to bonehead and bath and body works, a lego set that i put together before I went to bed that night, some scented oil, incence, a lighter that says fuck, a nice set of headphones that block out everything, a set of piano cd's, the certificate to the star that was named after me, a ticket to go sky diving and a ton of raspberry ice tea, which i drink in like a day. They hung out for awhile while i put the lego set together, mom booted em out, and we went to bed.
Monday 9/6, I went to the fair again with, this time with celia. It wasnt so bad. She paid for me to get in, we played some games, I had some rice milk (hella good) and we kinda just walked around that was about it. We had to leave early because she had to be home at 9..so we didnt do much. Thats ok. It was alright anyway. Not much to do. you know... Wednesday 9/8 I went shopping to find something for my sister. I would up spending about an hour in forever 21 and bought a pair of khakis and two shirts for her, ever thought I was worried that either the werent going to fit, or she would like them.
Thursday 9/9 I woke up at 7:45 to get ready to go to Southern California to see my sister, Christine, that I havent seen in about 6 years.We left around 10 I think. We drove to Lompoc, picked up Nessy and then on to Anaheim we went. We got to Anaheim around 6 or 7. Christine and her family met us in the parking lot, then took us up to where they were staying. My mom talked to her mom, her and I talked and talked, then my parents and Nessy left and I stayed with Christine. That night, we stayed up until about 5 in the morning talking about things we remember and how things were great up until Carolyn came into our lives, but we are both living better now, so it worked out. Christine fit and liked the clothes I bought her..thank goodness.
Friday, 9/10 we went with Christines mom and her little sister for her brothers treatment. It was cool, that night we went to downtown disney and ate dinner at the rainforest cafe then went to play with makeup in sephora..i found a new lip gloss i like so i might get it.
Saturday, 9/11 we said our good byes because I had to go early. We had decided somewhat what was going to happen when they come out in February. If all goes as planned, I am going to go back with them to Georgia for a week or so. They want me to see their house and meet the other side of christines family, and I would like to do that, plus go see Liz and everyone. It would be nice just to go back for alittle while anyway. After we left Anaheim, we went to a party at some Mariott which was ok, except that nessy and I were extremely bored, following that, we went to jeff and gina's and then on to Vitas.
This morning, dad and I came home, went to pea soups on the way. When we got home, jake and I went to blockbuster, rented Taking Lives for us (we wanted the newer version of The Island of Dr. Moreau(sp?) but they didnt have it) and Soul Plane for dad. After we got back, jack dad and I went to jacks to get some dinner, came home and watched tv and ate. I got an unexpected phone call tonight from ryan. really really unexpected. we had a brief discussion to make plans for hanging out on tuesday, so we might go see a movie or something. fun fun.
First off..Here is a picture of me and my sister at the suite she was staying in.
I dont exactly know what to say about my sister. She has changed so much since the last time I saw her...so grown up. physically, we look alot alike. you can tell we are related. shes a little bigger in frame then I am, so i cant wear her clothes, but its cool, she cant wear mine either lol. I realized how much we are alike in our manarisms(sp?) too. Alot of our responses are the same, we both are unladylike in the way that we dont care about our releases of gas..lol. Shes alittle different in style too. Shes into the darker make up, that doesnt mean shes goth, just a different style. She blends colors alot. Im into more of the simple, barely there look. She plays up her eyes more than I do. Shes a frugal shopper like me. Shes good at what she does. Shes got a nice disposition too, alittle moody(who isnt) but genuinely caring about things. I was worried that she was going to hate me for the incident with the trailer in georgia, but she doesnt. Shes done her fair share of stuff to me too, we've put it behind us and moved on. Shes anxious to move out, not because she hates it there, cause she doesnt, she loves it, she just hates all the rules. She wants to be free, its normal especially with teenagers..lol. I went through it too. She might not move out when she turns 18 though, beause she doesnt want her mom to be stuck taking care of a the two younger ones, because they are a handful, I can understand that. I really dont know what else to say. Shes got good morals, is really respectful, mature..you know.
