(no subject)
soooooo, i was walking down the hall in the music building like 20 minutes ago. my class had just let out and i was going back here to take a nap. and all of the sudden someone goes "jessica!" and it was KEVIN GRILLOT! he goes to tulane university in new orleans, and i was really worried about him for a while but then two nights ago he was online so i got to talk to him. he was at home in va and safe, and we talked for a while about N.O. and school and everything. obviously, tulane is closed at least for the semester and so he was applying to other schools. he thought he was going to go to northwestern, but i mentioned to him how PSU is taking tulane students (they wrote an article in the school paper about it, that they're taking in kids from tulane and other schools affected by the hurricane)and he was like oh, i'll have to check into that. so two days later i RUN INTO HIM! isn't that crazy? he's living on campus, he'll be here for the semester, and he just happened to have a class right in the classroom that i was walking by. man, that's crazy. never mind that this is a campus of 40,000+ people, and he could have had a class anywhere and if i hadn't stopped to throw away that gum wrapper i wouldn't have seen him! i didn't even recognize him at first, not so much cause i don't know what he looks like but because i'd never expect to see him here. i was like ".....KEVIN!" hah. wow, that was weird.
