t-minus 8 days
so, what have i been up to lately... i left 1770 (sad to say goodbye to team ice, let me tell u), and went to noosa for a few days... noosa is small but so beautiful, i just chilled out and went on a walk through the national park one day... and guess what happened in the national park. i walked alllll the way to the very end, where there was this beautiful secluded beach (massive tho) and i was like wow, this is wicked, so i lay down on my sarong and sort of fell asleep. when i opened my eyes, i discovered every single person around me was BUTT NAKED. i had stumbled upon a nude beach. it was full of old(er) people... i laughed to myself for a good while while observing, then i got naked too. if u can't beat em, joint em! right?! (just kidding, i left my bottoms on. didn't want old men seeing my bits!)
after noosa, i got on a bus to brisbane, met a wicked dutch girl and a german girl, and they were going on a brewery tour, so i met up with them and we did the tour... it was cool, we got free beer. alllll riiiight. then i went to surfers paradise, stayed with james who i met in cairns, it was SO NICE to relax in a proper home and sleep in a proper bed... then i met up with eline (the dutch girl) again and we took the bus to byron bay where we are now... it's cool here, really chilled out. i have absolutely no money so i just asked my parents again, even tho they JUST gave me money 2 weeks ago... i'll pay them back tho, i have like $20 to my name. can't even get to the airport with that! so i'm going to stay here for a few more days, then back to sydney to see taigen and some other peeps there, then HOME SWEET HOME!
oh, and. yesterday we did a day trip to this town called nimbin, it's a little hippie town where all anyone does is smoke pot. every single person we walked by had pot anjd/or pot cookies for sale... so we ate some cookies and then smoked a joint in a real live hemp bar (eline lives in amsterdam so i don't think she thought it was as cool as i did) but it was hilarious. we laughed so much, and then we had a massive bbq and ate so much. by the way, i'm actually fat now. it's impossible to eat healthy when u have no money... can't WAIT to come home and get fit. planet fitness here i come. anyways, it was a really cool day, and then we went out last night and dealt with annoying guys ALL NIGHT... but it was good times. our hostel is wicked, there's nobody staying there so we can just do whatever we want... it's cool:) it's so wicked how u randomly meet people like on the bus and then travel with them... and now i have some friends for life!
