fun in the sun
i love my life right now. at the moment, i'm just killing time before i go on a 3-day sailing/camping trip (we sail on a boat and then camp on a beauuutiful island)... but really "sailing trip" is a code name for GIANT BOOZE FEST WITH FELLOW TRAVELLERS... how i love giant booze fests.
i'm in airlie beach right now, it's fucking cool and so fun. every night they have fun games which i obviously always partake in... friday they had this game where we had to run into the audience and grab random stuff, first it was easy stuff like lighters and shoes, then it got a little crazy and by the end of it we had to get ALL someone's clothes, leaving them naked. then yesterday we got into teams and had to make a rope with- u guessed it- our clothes. it's so fun. and on friday, they had a wet t-shirt contest and the prize was $500, so i entered and ran around before the show recruiting people to cheer for me, and i WOULD'VE WON but we were meant to be on at 10 and didn't get on til 12, so the half of my cheerleading squad had left cuz they had a football game the next morning... ahhhh! i got second place anyways. but i didn't win any money, just a bar tab.
then last night, they had jelly wrestling, also for a $500 prize... i didn't win but it was so, so, sooooo fun. they put a wristband around each wrist and each ankle and u have to try to get them off your oponent... it's awesome. and hilarious. i'll post pics soon:)
i met this american girl in cairns, we came down here together... it's nice to have a friend. she's kind of a poser but she's cool... i miss cairns, we had a fun little crew at our hostel.
