Wait. Am I hearing this correctly? You dogged me out for how long about being a Mac user and now you've come to the Dark Side without an announcement?

Is this really happening?

And no, I don't know of any software except HandBrake and MacTheRipper. They all take a long time and kill system resources, so they're best done while you're sleeping.

You're the one who always picked on me about Mac mister. I'm hardly ever on LJ anymore, I did post something about it on FaceBook.

Thanks for the suggestions. How are you?

I am well. And I only picked because it's a superior computing platform. I do suspect that Brian had something to do with your choosing a Mac.

I played with his computer a bit, and spent a bunch of time at the Apple Store for their workshops.... it's was a 7 month decision. I still have my PC as well, as there is software I have only available for that OS. For the most part I like the Mac... I'm about 70-30 on it.

Download or buy VM ware fusion or Parallels or use BootCamp. You can rid yourself of your PC FOREVER! Rah ha ha!

Brian uses VMware Fusion and it's crashed and had complete losses twice. The second time his Time Machine backups played nice, first time he wasn't so lucky. I'd rather have them separate, or wait til the software is native to MacOS...

BootCamp is native, no? I thought it backed up your bootcamp partition?

Bootcamp is native, yes. But you still have to install windows which is not. If I was going to run a windows installation on my computer there is no way I would use boot camp. Unlike Parallels and Fusion, boot camp requires you to log out of each of them to switch, and that would be utterly useless... and beyod frustrating. I'll just keep my PC until I can do everything I want to do on my Mac. Who knows, maybe this new windows that's coming out will kick ass and leave OSX behind.

Yes, like all the other incarnations of Windows! Hold your breath, I'll be over here.
