I
a Light-drop
fallen and buried
within the chambers
of my wholeness
something grows
and is unfurled-
never question
the ways
I,
parted from you,
remain
a student
of your elegance
and
a worshipper
of your
sunrise colored beauty
.when it comes to you,
there is no wavering.
for me
the mystery
of us
is in knowing
that, despite the trappings
of alarm clocks,
we cannot
become undiscovered from one another
II
.for two Springs
we have been growing toward something
vibrant and amaranthine.
we’ve been young for a long time
now,
all things appear
to designate us ‘older’
(and of ‘wiser’
there was never any mention)
but never underestimate
the way songbeams dance
as our hands intertwine
we can be anything-
under the gliding moon,
closer to a fountain,
on top of the covers,
seated in a row,
blanketing the asphalt
with our voice
.the words of our memories,
made true.
and corner to corner
we fold only
unto ourselves
III
.something grows,
no longer afraid
to be called by its own name.
still spreading,
in bloom,
ever upward,
toward stars
no room for fear in us-
only love,
only Light.
