After 7 years, 8 months in my current position, I've been accepted for a promotion to network ops. There's a 5% pay raise over what I'm making now (whcih is a relief; I'd heard rumors that long-timers like me had the possibilty of a REDUCTION), and my hours are up in the air so far.

Not as good as getting away from this company, but this department is killing me.
