(no subject)
I'm really tired of cherry red, Hot Topic clad, MTV watching, bad attitude pseudo-punks. These are the kids that wear the clothes, get the tattoos, and shape the hair the way everyone else in their scene does, in order to appear "non-conformist." My personal proverb for the day is this:
"If you choose not to conform because you want to fit in with the non-conformists, YOU'RE A CONFORMIST!"
Think for yourselves, my children. Once you learn to love yourself, not in a manner of conceit, but in a manner of (at long last) comfort, then you will stop caring what others think of the way you look, act, sound, etc. Then you will finally belong to yourself, and no longer to the world. Then, you will finally be comfortable in your own skin. You will be at peace. Then, and ONLY THEN will you ever be happy.
I send my love out to all of you today, and I pray that you will all find happiness within yourselves this week. I also send out the warmest wishes for a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MIKE GILMORE! Woot WOOT!
