i'm gonna get up, get out and live
so last night my dad calls me up to tell me that my sister's team (18 and under newton south/newton north) doesn't have enough players to play in their game and asks if i'll play. without even thinking, i said yes.
i was really nervous bc i hadn't played in 2.5 years, but i figured it would probably be fun. surprisingly, i actually did really well! i hit into the outfield, made a few good plays and stole a lot of bases. i even slid underneath a tag and was safe. it was awesome to be able to play on the same team as my sister.
..i never thought i'd play again...
who knows...maybe i'll continue?
