Ridiculous, rec-centric entry
Because I'm sort of compiling a gigantic list of decent, Pirates of the Caribbean fic even though I don't know if I want to. There's a lot of crap out there to sift through, especially if you tend towards, say, Norrington-centric fic (or Norrington/Elizabeth fic in particular). So here goes nothing. Link to this if you feel the need, since my other journal is f-locked.

Something out of Nothing and A Dark Destiny Besides (Norrington/Anamaria, AU). Lovely and delish and far too short drabbles about Norrington and Anamaria.
The Admiral by meddow (Norrington/OFC) A lovely look at the Tortuga!Norrington we lust after in DMC.
A Turner Blade by circe_tigana (Will, Norrington/Elizabeth) I'm a sucker for "what if?" fic, as the next few recs will show. This one is so despairing, so eloquent, and so right.
It is my belief that ash_night writes the best Norrington fic in the world, which is why there are several fics listed here. First, to continue with the "what if?" speculation, we have The Repercussion of Jack Sparrow's Death, written in a style that they use again and again to great effect. Just amazing.
ash_night is currently writing a drabble series, which is Norrington/Elizabeth and is beautifully written. It goes: The Cheshire Cat, Ghost, King of Hearts, Trio, Routine, and Fire and Ice. 'Routine' is just...wibble. All can be found at norribeth, a good Norrington/Elizabeth community.
Something more Norrington-centric that ash_night has written is Oh, I think we can give him one day's head start which is lovely in it's take on post-CotBP/pre-DMC!Norrington.
Now, this is more for le_parapluie than anyone else: Good women are few, fine women are rare, and Elizabeth is neither. I read this and knew you'd love the use of language.
