2. Did you enter any new fandoms? Did any tempt you? Did you leave any behind?
I entered Twilight fandom, though I haven't written much for that lately. I left behind Harry Potter, though I do miss it sometimes. I I totally for some bizarre reason fell in love with Harvey/Rachel in The Dark Knight. WTF. But I've been writing one Batman story for about two years so I win?
3. Now don't be shy! Did you win any contests, challenges, competitions, awards, etc?
Not sure? I didn't enter many contests or even write that much.
4. Do you feel like you've grown at all through fanfiction? Do you feel like a better writer?
I'm not sure, to be honest, and I feel like my writing was stunted this year by a lack of time to write. I was definitely not as prolific as I wanted to be.
5. What would you consider to be the best fic you wrote this year?
It's sad that I feel like my first fic was my best. I'm very fond of and so it is and I also like everything in its place. And I am fond of Oncoming Traffic.
6. The worst?
Not sure there's a worst fic, just average, unspectacular fic.
7. It might be narcissistic to ask which you think is underrated, so which do you think is overrated?
Is it safe to say there's too few fics there to be "overrated" or "underrated"?
8. Do you have any goals in mind to accomplish in the future?
Write more.
9. What about fic?
Finish That Which is Infinite. Start sequel. Write more Harvey/Rachel. Finish ourour intents and purposes.
10. Lastly, what was the best fic and who was the best fanfiction author of 2008?
In terms of pop culture value (haha), A Consummation Devoutly to be Wished by bratanimus was fantastic Edward/Bella and managed to become, well, phenomenon. I think it's safe to say that, right? :) Anything bratanimus wrote in the Twilight fandom was amazing.
goddesspharo writes amazing Rachel and Harvey-centric Batman fic (both together and separate).
I found this through Yuletide, but this is not a chick flick was perhaps one of the best fics of the year.
