Pride's Last Stand
After my last post I'd like to say that
I have been partaking in events more manly
but I can't.... I did something horrible last night
I wasn't drinking excessive beer,
nor was I talking about football
The only time cars came into the equation
was when i played with a matchbox truck
that was on the table as a decoration
But that one truck isn't enough to make me a man
It doesn't make up for the fact that I sang kareoke
it gets worse though;
I liked it.
The lights. The crowd. The atmosphere.
I sang like Shannon Noll
and you can bet your boots I was true to myself
Should I hand in my male bits like a policeman hands in their badge?
Speak the truth in love, or forever hold your peace.
I feel like I'm a let down to men everywhere
but I won't cry, 'cos real men don't cry.
