the end of an era
I finished the roll of plastic wrap today.
This is probably not a big event in most households, but we bought this plastic wrap right after we got married. Specifically, on the day after our wedding, I was researching the proper way to freeze the top of the wedding cake (yeah, kinda late to be figuring it out), and the instructions I found involved a combination of aluminum foil and plastic wrap. So I went down the street to the convenience store to pick up the plastic wrap, since we had none in the house.
And now, nearly six years later, it's gone.
I'm debating whether to put it on the shopping list. I mean, it's pretty obvious that we don't use it very much.
