First, an explanation.
The way our commuting life works is this:
I take the bus to the Metro in the morning. J drives A to school, and then parks at the Metro.
In the evening, I get the car from the Metro, pick up A, and then either pick up J or go home.
Suffice it to say, I know generally where the car gets parked everyday, but not exactly.
Yesterday, I was walking in the general direction of the car. There are a list of features I notice about the car as I approach it and confirm that it's the right one. Yesterday, it went like this:
make/model/color - check
plain MD tags - check (this is easier to tell from far away, even before seeing the actual characters)
missing Honda emblem on front - check
ezPass - uncheck?
I was a little wary about this car in the first place because it's rare that J gets a parking spot that close. But how many people park at this Metro station, own a green Honda Civic of approximately the same model year, with a moonroof, and are missing the Honda emblem?
Apparently two.
J's has been missing for awhile. I want to say it's been since we lived in TX. But it seems strange to me that it'd be a common item to steal. I mean, it's seriously not that exciting.
