Favorite Game Gals
I have been a gamer since I was a little kid. And of course, as you know it, I have my favorites. From Super Mario to Final Fantasy, from Nintendo Console to Portable Playstation, I have played many video games in my lifetime--some left unfinished, while many are accomplished. And in those games, I grow attached to some of the characters, mainly the females. In this entry, I will list down all of my favorite girls from the games.

Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII)
Childhood friend of Cloud Strife, the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII, Tifa Lockhart is a member of the terrorist group AVALANCHE and owner of the Seventh Heaven Bar. She assists Cloud in recovering his memories and saving the planet from Sephiroth, the antagonist of the game. She has strong feelings for Cloud, but she would never admit to them.
Slim, beautiful, and optimistic, Tifa is physically strong and capable of decimating almost any enemy with her fists. Tifa is considered to be like a mother, a sweetheart, and a close ally in battle. Her character class in the game is "Martial Artist" or "Monk", thus she has high physical stats.
Possessing both strength in mind and heart, Tifa is portrayed as a positive role model and female lead for women. Tifa is a hard working and other-centered person, which makes her very attractive to the fans.
Misty/Kasumi (Pokemon Games)
In the video games, young Misty is the Gym Leader of Cerulean City. She specializes in Water-type Pokémon and awards a Cascade Badge to trainers who beat her in a battle. Her title is "The Tomboyish Mermaid." Her main strategy is an all-out attack with Water-type Pokémon.
A talented swimmer with great confidence in herself, Misty constantly trains to improve her technique. She is often seen training at Seafoam Islands. Her prowess as a trainer and leader is well recognized, especially by the trainers she defeated at Cerulean's Cape.
She is, far most, the youngest Gym Leader of the Kanto Region--quite an achievement for such an age.
Terra/Tina Branford (Final Fantasy VI)
A mysterious young woman, controlled by the Gestahlian Empire, and born with the gift of magic, Terra Branford is one of the only humans able to naturally cast magic, and the only human-Esper hybrid in existence. She is pure at heart and can be easily frightened, however, Terra is very brave and willing to fight for what she knows is right.
Terra's job class is described as a "Red Mage", as her stats are all-around good and her equipment is highly varied. Proficient in several areas of combat, Terra can strike an enemy with both long-range and short-range attacks.
When in Esper Form, she gains the ability to perform attacks twice in succession without needing to charge the spell a second time. She also has the ability to glide. Her Ex Burst is Riot Blade,where she whips out her arms and flings crescent-shaped waves at her opponent.
Asuka Kazama (Tekken)
Famously known as the cousin of the series protagonist, Jin Kazama, Asuka Kazama is first introduced in Tekken 5. Ever since she was a child, Asuka had received training in Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts from her father. Confident and rather brash, Asuka is well known around Osaka for breaking up fights in the neighborhood.
Upon returning home one day, Asuka found pupils of her father had been roughed up. She learned from her father's pupils that an unknown Chinese man showed up at the dojo, severely beat them, and put Asuka's father in the hospital.Several days later, an Interpol detective from Hong Kong came to investigate the incident, mentioning that the suspect is most likely planning to enter The King of Iron Fist Tournament. Upon hearing this, Asuka decides that she will also enter the tournament.
Sun Shang Xiang (Dynasty Warriors)
Known as the Lady of Wu, the upbeat and headstrong Sun Shang Xiang is the daughter of Sun Jian and the younger sister of Sun Ce and Sun Quan. Taught martial arts from an early age, Shang Xiang is considered to be a tomboy by fans, nevertheless, she is loyal and caring. She's addressed as "Princess" by Wu's vassals, but she is a warrior with great dignity and heart.
Her main point is speed and has proven to be a great crowd killer due to most of her attacks swinging all around her. She is one of the few characters in the game who can play a solid keep-away game with her opponents but she can be very deadly if all of her arrows connect at short range. She is proficient with swords and many different weapons, but her main choice is the chakram or the bow.
