People

It's interesting to see how people do and don't change over time.

I was an RA for freshman girls last year, and they were immature and crazy half the time. Now I'm a camp counselor, and many of my coworkers are that age this year or last year. Putting the two images together hurts my brain sometimes... but I wonder how they are in relation to what I've seen.

Last night at the Wave, I saw my friend Tia. I've known her since middle school, and she said that mine was the first chest she fell in love with. She moved away in 9th grade, liking me a lot. I saw her briefly at Target early freshman year at VWC; there were many hugs but also much groping. Same thing again last night... it's amusing to see that she hasn't changed much. She brought up another old friend, Brian, who we had both dated at some point in middle school. Apparently my old Scarlet Pimp (because he blushed a lot and had many girlfriends) was up to some craaaazy things at the anime con this past weekend. *shakes head*

I know I've changed a lot since then.. I dated Brian in 7th grade. You know what? Because he was my first ever boyfriend, I wouldn't hug him. At All. Nevermind kissing! Remembering that now, it's incredible, since I'll hug just about anyone within minutes of meeting them. *shakes head*

Finally, I look at my campers and I wonder how they'll turn out. Some of them I worry about, but it's been interesting seeing them grow up over the past 4 years. My how time flies, sometimes...
