(no subject)
August is flying. Back to DC in 2 weeks!
I started job #3, but that's probably a good thing seeing as job #1 has most likely fired me.
Last weekend: Thursday we went to Six Flags! The highlight of the day was obviously seeing Mike Tiu & getting engaged to him (I hope?). Friday I worked & saw Ben Lee/ BEN FOLDS/ Rufus Wainwright with Jenn in Boston! It was a great show, but Ben's set was shorter than usual & he didn't do an encore because he was on second plus wasn't feeling well. Saturday the family and I spent the day at the beach in New London, CT where my dad had a race. Sunday was Water Country!
Allie turned 13 this week. :-/
Yesterday was DCI Quarterfinals at Gillette! It was awesomeeee, originally I didn't even have a ticket and wasn't planning on going, but Mr. C. hooked Allie & I up. My favorites were the Madison Scouts, the Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Blue Knights, Crusaders, and Phantom Regiment. Of course the Cadets had the highest score but I was pretty unimpressed. The Blue Devils were also great, the greatest part being that JEFF LAROSE marches with them!
Okayyy well back to work.
