Last night worked out nicely
As we were leaving to meet 10 friends at a restaurant for our 20th anniversary I found myself saying to Kevin "No, you're not going to wear all black to our anniversary dinner."
"But black is slimming."
"I don't care, be slim some other day."
Anyway, it was a nice time. Turns out not everyone was local though, one of the three Michaels that showed up was from North Babylon, and I gave him a "Token Straight" nametag for the evening. But since just about everyone else was either a theater person or a gamer, or both, he fit right in.
And fortunately only one person broke the "no presents" rule, but he heard about it late. Oh wait, another one gave us a Starbucks gift card, but that takes up hardly any space and disappears eventually so I can't complain.
