When I Say I'ma Do Something I Do It.
My last update was when I was at the beach, like I said in that post I was there for only a few days. We were supposed to leave Friday morning but we didn't end up leaving until late Saturday morning, then we got lost and didn't make it to the beach house until seven! Never the less I spent all day Sunday and Monday at the beach and it was perfect! It was great getting away from reality for a few days and spending time with the family, sure we were a little too removed from civilization for me lol but I still had fun none the less. We (Noelle, Elsa, my dad and myself) left super early Tuesday morning, like 4:15am because we all had to work the rest of the week but the rest of the family would stay the duration of the week at the beach. Originally my brother was going to come back too but at the last minute decided to stay and I'm grateful that he did, for several reasons but we'll get to those in a second! So Tuesday morning we dropped off Elsa and Noelle in DC at 8:30, my dad dropped me off at 9:00am at the house and I proceeded to sleep in until 11:45 at which point I woke up and rushed off to work and worked until 6:30! Haha I was slightly exhausted that day but managed to get through the day without falling asleep on the job. The next day was Wednesday and I had to work early and while I was pretty tired when I got home I still had dinner with my dad and then went out to the karaoke bar, by myself! Lol shocker I know but Phylicia unfortunately is still on the mend and I really wanted to show off my tan and maybe I wanted to see if the ex was there. He wasn't but I was still able to show off my tan and I stuck around to see the finals of the karaoke competition before going back home, work the next day was long again mainly because we had CPR & First Aid training after work so instead of leaving at 6:30 I didn't leave until 9:00 which meant I didn't get home until 9:30! However one my consolations for that was not only did we get paid for the training but through out the training I was texting the ex, making it clear that I was home alone and was in need of some "fun" lol. Thankfully he got the message loud and clear! I had dinner with my dad that night and after he left I jumped in the shower then waited around for the ex to show up, I ended up falling asleep while watching a movie but was woken up by my phone ringing, three guesses as to who it was lol. Anyways it was nice having him over, considering he'd never been to my house before; so there was conversation, we watched some tv and had some...fun haha. We said goodbye at 6:00am the following morning and while I didn't care if any of my neighbors saw him leave I wasn't prepared for the onslaught of looks I got from my co-workers that day when they noticed the love bites he decided to leave on my neck! Anyways that was two weeks ago and while since then we've tried to see each other again it just hasn't worked out, oh well that's life I suppose. Last week I had the schedule from hell, no joke my time sheet consisted of four 9 hour days and one 10 hour day so I did some major relaxing this weekend, in between lots of shopping. This week I have another long week but several good things happen this week, Tuesday is my birthday! Wednesday I have the day off and am hanging out with a friend that I haven't seen in ages and my "Totally 80's" birthday party is this weekend! Sure it sucks that I'm working long days again this week but I figure it's more money for me in the long run. So I think that's pretty much all that's happened since I've been back from the beach, if there's no update this week then expect one next week that will probably centered around my party.
