The Native Dances and The Charming Songs
I guess it's been what two weeks since my last post? I've got some free time this morning so I figured why not go ahead and update? Last week was uneventful I suppose, pretty much worked and stayed in lol shocker right? I'd say almost three weeks ago while we were out Phylicia took a nasty fall and sprained her ankle really bad. She's on the mend thankfully but it's caused me to stay in these last two weeks, can't complain though it's allowed me to watch Top Chef which is seriously one of my favorite reality shows (probably just behind the Real World). I've always been keeping up with the World Cup, of course I'm rooting for the USA, the game yesterday was amazing! I missed it live because I had to go into work early but thankfully last month I was able to fix the TiVo and it's being put to good use recording all the matches I miss while I'm working. Wimbledon also started on Monday and while it's totally clashing with the World Cup so long as Rafa continues to win his matches I'm good! Summer Camp at my job started on Monday and I've been doing field trips with the kids all week, Monday and Tuesday we went to the water park which was awesome because I able to get some serious tanning done! Yesterday we went to the zoo and tomorrow we're going to Harper's Ferry. I'm going in at my regular time today so I was able to sleep in this morning yay lol. Though it's looking like I'm going to be doing field trips this whole summer, yeah that's totally ok with me, it makes the day go by sooo much faster! This weekend is shaping up to be awesome, Saturday I've been invited by Phylicia to her aunt's bbq then Saturday night I'm sleeping over at Dawn's house because we're doing a day trip to the beach! I'm so effin' excited for that lol I haven't been to the beach in over a year! Next week I'm going back to the beach for the holiday weekend with the family, so yeah two weekends at the beach? Yes please! Multiple trips to the beach are exactly what I need to take my mind off the ex. Surprise, surprise things are...who the hell knows what they are! The last time I saw him was the night he invited me over and I spoke to him briefly last week when I congratulated him on Greece finally winning a game in the world cup (though where are they now? Oh yeah they were eliminated yesterday!). I really shouldn't make such a big deal about him, I know this trust me; but I don't know I guess I just kind of miss him and I really don't know why! Whatever, like I said beach trips are just what I need to recharge my batteries...oh! And shopping for said beach trips lol have to squeeze that in tomorrow after work or maybe on Saturday. Anyways, I suppose you're all caught up! I can safely say another update won't happen until Monday at the earliest when I'm back from the beach lol. Peace and Love.
