Things I Learned Today
-We shouldn't tolerate gays or blacks, we should tolerate ignorance (or something)
-Fighting the "good fight" means standing and being silent (at some point, people decided that "fighting" for rights/dignity/whatever didn't do anything. when did people decide this?)
-There are gays like the gays on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."
Umm...that's it. Rosie Perez admitted several times that she had no idea why they asked her to speak, which makes me wonder what compelled them (the straights) to ask her to speak. Also, Dean S noted that he didn't want them stereotypical fags up there speaking, he's rather have Rosie Perez, because she's completely irrelevant. So yes, in short, I'm saying SBNN was a waste of fucking time. Well - I take that back. Rosie Perez was wearing hot ass boots, and there were excellent brownies (but no cookies. no cookies is a theme this year).
I also learned that Anthony is a Subject (I think the kind with a capital "S") and an Ideological State Apparatus.
