I always forget to post when I'm in Mount Olive. And even though I'm dorky enough to take special note of things to put in my LJ throughout the day, I've forgotten anything. I'll just say that it's been a pleasant and relaxing few days, even considering my choice to get my poor self to work for the bulk of it. Let's see what I can remember...
Christmas was nice. My family celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, as we always do, and we all cried that morning because Daisy wasn't present and there was no beagle stocking by the fireplace :-( But still, it was nice.
The much-anticipated World Idol was pretty good. I'm not sure why Simon thinks he can be a dick to the polish guy, but whatever. I am quite fond of the Canadian, the Elton John kid, the Polish girl, and the sexy man who sang the U2 song. I hope he wins, and I hope the racist bastard from South Africs gets his ass kicked. Kelly Clarkson seemed like she was going to cry throughout the whole thing, probably because she didn't hit the high note in her song, the dumbass.
