Young And Wild Things Tour - 11/26/07
So the day started out at this Verizon store where Gym Class Heros were doing an accoustic set and an autograph signing. I got there at the same time as Andrea and Angel and I hung out with my bb Kayla and them until they let us in. They were still setting up the equiptment when we went in so we went to the other side of the store to watch people (aka Angel and Kayla) make fools of themselves and dance in front of a green screen to try and win a GCH shirt lmao. Shortly after that GCH went onstage and OMFG Traaaaviieeeee!! <3333 He's so much hotter in person guhhhh... You could tell that he either just rolled out of bed or just got stoned or both lol bc his eyes were so droopy and he was talking all slow and quiet lmao lookie!
So they played 3 songs and even though I was kinda mad that I ended up in the back, it worked out best in the end because once they finished the last song I booked it back outside, so I was the first in line to get into the meet and greet haha. We had to wait for a little while though because people that had Verizon phones and had GCH stuff on them got these VIP passes and they got to take pics with the band :( And oh, did I mention, fucking Angel got a VIP pass with his sidekick bc the girl that was handing them out didnt realize it wasn't a Verizon phone! Ugh.. cheater! lol
Anyway... so they finally let the line in and I got a poster and had all the guys sign it. I felt back bc I didn't really know the other guys that well and the people in front of me were taking a long time to move so which ever guy I was waiting in front of were like o.o hahaha soooo awkward. So then I get to Travie and I try my hardest not to swoon lmao I told him they did a great job and when I told him that it was so nice to meet him finally looked up at me and smiled and asked me what my name was heeee So I told him and asked to shake his hand and he shook my hand and idk the rest was kinda a blur.. lmao the whole other 15 seconds I was standing there
So lala when we were done there we headed to the arena and got in pretty quick. Then we had to wait in this lobby/stairwell thing for an hour but it was pretty cool bc we got to hang out with the other OCKers (aka: Kayla and Sammi and their friends haha) Then we went downstairs to this corridor thing and everyone got in a long line to get into the m&g.. lmfao John-Jay and Rich from KISS FM were there and omfg so was Tara Hitchcock from Channel 3 but I was too scurred to say hi to her lol.
So after the security guy came and bitched at us, telling us what to do and what not to do, we finally got led into this little room where the guys were sitting at the table. We were one of the first people in line and when we got in there I looked at Pete first and he looked at me at the same time a;lsdkjf;aosdjif OMFG U GUYZ WE TOTALLY HAD EYE CONTACT FOR LIKE 10 SECONDS. rofl I was so frozen in fear I didn't know what to do.. I kept telling myself to wave but by the time I could manage to lift my hand he'd already looked away.. lmao I so loose.
So the line started moving and the meet and greet basically went down like this:
Me: O.O Hi Patrick!
Patrick: *looks up and smiles all cute* Hi, how are you?
Me: *big cheezy grin* good! *puts my ticket down* I'm so happy to meet you finally! Can I shake your hand??
Pat: *smiles and we shakes hands then he signs the ticket*
Me: *takes a deep breath* Um. So I just wanted to say you did a great job with the new Cobra record!
Pat: *still looking down, mumbles something that I think sounded like:* thanks.. I loved working on that
Me: its like, my favorite CD right now... I love that I can hear you in every single song
Pat: *smiles all cute* yeah
Me: *looks over and notices the line hasn't moved yet and just starts to word vomit* so this is like the 8th time I've seen you guys and I've never got to meet you
Andrea: *elbowing me to shut up because she wants to talk to him now*
Pat: *i dont remember bc I was freaking out too much and rambling lmao*
Andrea: *finally elbows me hard enough that I move to Andy*
Andy: *signs ticket*
Me: Hi Andy, its nice to meet you
Andy: *looks up and barely musters a grumpy "hi"*
Me: O.O................*moves onto joe*
Me: *smiles* Hi!
Joe: hi!
Me: It's nice to meet you, can I shake your hand??
Joe: yeah *smiles and we shake then he signs*
Me: O.O *tries to think of something to say but stutters on words* S-sorry! I'm so nervous!!
Joe: *chuckles a little* its okay
Me: *realizes I'm the last one now and goes to Pete*
Me: *sets can of Sprinkles red velvet cupcake mix down in front of him* Hi, this is for you
Pete: oh thank you!
Security guy: *interupting me to try and get me moving*
Me: *looks at him then back at Pete and turns the can so he can read what it is*
Pete: oh cool! I'll make them if I have the time *signs ticket*
Me: okay! can I shake your hand??
Pete: *shakes my hand*
security guy: *puttin his hand on me to get me to move*
Me: *looking at Pete* thank you!!
So after I walke dout I was shaking SO bad... ugh I was such a nervous wreck. Then right after I got back in line Andrea came up and said, "Happy Birthday!!" and hands me Pete's book and inside was this:
omfg The only thing I could do was burst into tears and hug her! I love her so much for doing this for me... she sacrificed her time with the guys (Patrick especially) so she could do something special for me....
Luckily, I regained my composure because before we knew it, we were back at the front of the line to take pics now. I wanted to take one with just me and Andrea but they hearded like 10 of us in there like fucking cattle. I was SO pissed bc I was the last one in there and I thought I was gonna have to sit on the floor and not stand next to any of the guys, but when I walked in my eyes scanned the area and as I was about to go sit on the floor I realized there was an empty space on the other side of Pete so I zoomed my ass over there and scooped him up! lmao They took the pic and I told Pete, "Thank you for signing the bookd for my birthday!" and he smiled all cute and told me you're welcome as the fucking secuirty guys barked at us.
Then out of nowhere Andrea came over and tried to hand Pete something but the asshole got in her way and was all rude and practically shoved her away from him. Ugh.
So because the meet and greet was while they opened the doors, we didn't get front row :( That kinda made the rest of the night shitty for us bc the crowd sucked and the sound wasn't the greatest. As far as the show goes, theres not much to say about it because it was basically Civic Tour all over again with the addition of a few different songs. Such a dissapointment... I did get a few good pics out of it though...
