Thank You & Good Points of Today
I wanted to thank everyone who was thinking and praying for my brother and my family in general yesterday. From what I hear from my brother, things seemed to have gone well. He really won't know too much for about 2 weeks. I was a little late picking him up, but it actually worked out since he was not done yet. My brother says that it shouldn't last that long again, but the policy was to order the medicine from the pharmacy only after he had arrived the first time. They had trouble getting a hold of the pharmacy, so it took around a half an hour. There was really nothing for my bro to do at that time since he had an IV in, so they offered him some grape juice and a sandwich and he read some of the book he brought. After he was done, we stopped at his doctor's office real quick to check on something, then went to Arby's since my bro promised and I was starving (the only thing I had eaten all day was a nutrigrain bar and it was about 3:30-4 - yummy hot curly fries!!!! Then we stopped at Half Price Books, where we didn't find what we needed and I had to control myself from going crazy. Then we went to Best Buy to pick up Quantum Leap Season 1 for my mom's birthday.
Good points of today:
~ Got my placement for my 30 hour required observations and the dude actually followed directions, so that I can borrow my bro's car and gave me a close enough school if I need to walk. The only problem is that starting this coming Monday and going through 4/1, I have to observe from 7:30-12, meaning if I'm walking my wake up call will be 6:30 and I have the car it will be 7. So, Chris I don't want to hear anymore complaining about 8am wake-up calls!
~ I found out that my Thursday night class is cancelled this week is cancelled meaning that I'm not in as a big of rush to finish my novel Hiroshima and write up the book review. I still need to do it soon since I have to write up a legal brief due in a week.
~ I got to take a nap. I woke up and turned on the TV to see Keith. I'm not sure if the nap helped too much though, since my back is still aching and my head has decided to start hurting
In other news, my emotions have been a mess lately, and I think it's mostly due to my birthday. I love the fact that I'm an adult and can legally drink, don't get me wrong. It's just other things I've been thinking about. I don't really want to go into it all on here, but if you would like to know more, just let me know. Well, dinner is ready ( I get to try Maria's grandma's Matzo Ball soup) and then it's off to my night class. JCya! I ♥ you, Christian!!
