my hand really hurts....ouch....
Well...yesterday Spring Hill Review accepted “Broken Night” for publication. Very cool. It’s below for those that like to read my poems. ;-D
Broken Night
by Laura
At the edge of a clouded sky,
A tiny peek at heaven;
An invisible sunset.
Shades of gray,
Moving away,
Fade from my view.
Ragged streaks across the sky,
Shaded in black.
Darkness surrounds,
Drifting away with the clouds.
Wonderment at the hole in the night.
A voice speaks with the light.
Other than that...not much going on...I have lots of writing projects today...
Last night our volleyball team was formed more. Robyn and Michelle from my homeschool group are on my team too!! That’s neat. Kelly, my discipleship group leader is our coach!! We’re sooo happy. She was my v-ball coach last summer too. She’s a blast. And...our team’s name is 9 Americans and 2 Somoans. Sorta strange...but...whatever!
Bible study is at Starbucks again tonight....fun....
