several girls galore had another show... this time at the cherry bar in SF... also in the band this night ms lauren cheak and ms lauren lemos... being a bar they wouldn't let us in untill we were about to play... which was cool because they weren't asses about it like the concord bar... we spent time at porn stores gay and straight for the time for us to go on... we went on before "the otherside" which was the best band we ever played with... very oasis like and way better than us... we played and it was ok... still trying to figure out the technical aspects of how to effectively use a sampler as a drum machine since it can be very hard for us to hear the drums while playing which makes us 100x more off tempo/worse... it was all good... people were really nice and the last two songs went really well.. the otherside came up to us afterwords and told us how we reminded them of the jesus and mary chain which is the biggest compliment we've ever gotten.. so I guess as a band we're in love with the otherside too... it was a fun experience for all involved and I think the girls had fun too... Jan umbao (?) was at our show which was confusing but hilarious... everyone who works in these places as security/sound people have nicknames... some that we've encountered so far: Ace, Star, Boom... we forgot to stay to get paid... again... our bad...
