I have the best girlfriend ever. You should date her.
She finally sent me her letter after about 69 years. It was so nice. Letters are so much better than E-mail and Instant Messaging. Maybe even better than talking on the phone. You can write whatever you want because you don't have to say it right on the spot and you have so much time to think about it. They really let people know how you feel.

Here's the part that really got me:
"I was so happy that I went with you[Junior Prom]. I had so much fun. I loved dancing with you to Aerosmith's 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing.' Everytime I hear that song I think of you. When everyone went to Melissa's, everything ended. I just wanted to rewind time and live though it all over again. The next morning I went home and wrote in my journal. "I didn't want the song to end. I felt complete and safe in his arms, I loved it. John was the perfect date."
