Quick update
I saw the doctor yesterday, and he said that while serious damage is unlikely, he still want to do an MRI to be safe.
I have to take at least a week off from work, maybe more, but it turns out that I have some crazy amount of sick leave and could, in theory, take the rest of the month off with no problem. Right now about the only thing I'm worried about is getting bored not working and not being able to go to too many places, what with being encouraged to rest me leg and all.
Oh, and my girlfriend insisted that I mention that I got this injury because I heroically pushed her out of the way, saving her life. An exaggeration, but I did block her advance when I saw the car was not going to stop, so I saved her from a bruised hip maybe. I don't want to say I'm like Jesus, but feel free to make the comparison yourselves :)
