The Name of the Wind
So, they guy that does www.goblins.com feels so strongly about the book title above that he goes out of his way to do a comic just to advertise it's being released to paperback.
Considering this guy's update schedule anyway, that struck me as pretty signifigant.*
So, I went and picked it up last night. It's thick, and even at my reading speed, I only got through about half. So far, excellent stuff. I'll have more to say once I'm finished, but so far it's getting a strong recommend from me. Only downside so far...it's book 1 of a new series. Anticipation just kills me.
* Not criticizing the man in any way, I understand he's busy and the comic doesn't pay the bills. Just wishing he'd update more often, it's one of my favorites these days.
