Game meetup
In a good mood after a game meetup with the local boardgame group. I played The Nacho Incident, Chez Geek, as well as Munchkin Cthulhu and Taluva. There were two former students of mine, Sam and Tom, as well as one's gal and one's friend, our charming hosts, Belle and Victor, and other people about as well.
We broke for pizza, which was okay, and conversation, which as usual was a pleasure. Mostly. Oh, to play games again, with people who know games!
I'll go again. Such a relief. It helped that we played funny games, not giant-armor-boy games. But so much fun. And Hobbesy is coming by tonight to sleep over and lark to church tomorrow. And lunch with Ronee and Chris.
Right this minute eating leftover guacamole, I don't mind being alone.
