Prayers please...
After a meeting Luis and I had tonight with some friends from church at our pastor's house, Luis and I spotted a couple pulled over when we exitted the small neighborhood. When we got closer, we saw the guy force the girl out of the car and throw her to the ground. He then picked her up, pinned her against the car and began to beat and strangle her. As we drove right next to them, the girl screamed at us for help, but what could we do? We're not heroes, and he might have had a gun. He saw us and we drove off, Luis immediately calling 911 and myself calling the pastor. We circled around a minute later to see if they were still there and to help the police, but they had already gone. The pastor came up in his car to help us, but nothing could be done since the couple had left. The police got there and we told them all that we could, but we didn't have the plate numbers nor a decent description of the car. He got away. So all we can do now is pray. For all those who are willing, please, pray with us for this couple. Pray that she is safe and that justice is served and the guy learns that what he did was wrong. Thank you all, and God bless...
