all jobs suck
Well, I've come to the rather obvious conclusion that no matter what job you're at, you're going to hate it for one reason or another. Or many reasons. DirecTV opened a new account which Luis now works for and they've been experimenting with it for a month and a half now, which has both kept Luis from getting any commission and also screwed with his hours a bunch of times. First it was 10-6:30, then is was 9:30-6, now it's 11:30-8. It's forced me to change my availability several times which is bugging the hell out of me and my managers. But this time, I can't change my hours because if I can't work at least from 10am, my hours will get chopped in half and I can't afford that. However, I've been getting a lot of "ONC"s recently (credit card applications), not that I'm proud of it, but I get more hours cuz of it. I hate being main cashier every day though... I'd rather be on the floor, folding clothes and avoiding everyone.
School's been pretty good till recently. I've aced my first two tests, but had to postpone the third because of the monstrous amount of HW I have to do in order to learn the crap. The teacher said it was fine though. Unfortunately, pushing this test back puts a cramp on studying for the fourth and final test, but I'm willing to take the risk.
I bought some new drawing supplies since I lost my ink... the white ink I got is super watery and the brush was much bigger than expected.. But I love the cork-back ruler. I'll just order some micron pens and white-out for the inking instead of using ink in a bottle and pens with tips that split to the point of uselessness after a month. Luis needs me to finish the comic by July so that our friend can do the coloring and lettering and they can try to sell a few copies at a comic convention next January. *le sigh*
I'm so bored right now... Why does Luis need friends to hang out with when he has a perfectly good wife at home to talk to? psh. PSH!

P.S. My laptop is still broken. I think I'll just give in and take it to Best Buy and pay 10x more than I should have to...
